mms2016-01After a couple of weeks moving homes and finishing Kent Agerlund and my book, time for a quick blog about the Midwest Management Summit. In only 10 days from now I will speaking and attending the Midwest Management Summit in the Mall Of America in Minneapolis. For the third year in a row I will be speaking at this great community driven three day conference.

On May the 16th (a day after my birthday) I will be presenting together with fellow Enterprise Mobility MVP John Marcum at the  Taming BYOD with EMS, ConfigMgr & Intune – Hands On Labs 4 hour pre conference session. During this four hour session we talk about the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite stand alone and run through labs that cover the EMS Hybrid scenario with System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch. The session is sold out already.

My second session will be together with Chris Nackers, together with Chris I will be talking about  Use Microsoft EMS to Protect your Mobile Data and Mobile Apps , a session full of Mobile Application Management, Enterprise Data Protection and Mobile Information Management with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory Premium and Azure Rights Management Services. The last week sessions are added almost daily and one of the sessions which is approved is a preconference session together with fellow Enterprise Mobility MVP John Marcum, this 4 hour hands on lab session will be all about managing Mobile Devices using ConfigMgr and Intune.

mmsThe (if you ask me) community for community event this year will be again the Midwest Management Summit in Minneapolis this 9-11 November. Last year this event was organized for the first time by the Minnesota System Center User Group and it was a huge success! See here my wrap-up blog of the first edition. So if you want to attend a real knowledge event with many speakers and MVPs from around the world be sure to attend this November in the Mall Of America, it is getting sold out!!

briforumlondonLast week I was invited to present one session at BriForum London. BriForum is all about end-user computing as they on the website: “We live, eat and breathe at the point where end users intersect with enterprise IT technology”. A very nice conference and setup about virtualization, VDI, enterprise mobility, DaaS platforms and much more, held for the 17th time.

BriForum gives you an opportunity to interact with the speakers and fellow IT Pro’s that are attending the 30+ sessions during the two days that BriForum is happening.

In Bern I will be speaking about managing your Mac OS X devices with Configuration Manager 2012 R2. Learn what you need to have to be able to manage those sexy devices and see what you are able to do with Configuration Manager 2012 R2. wmug_nl_klThe IT-Pro Community in the Netherlands is very active at the moment, for the month November 3 events are scheduled on the calendar. The Windows Management User Group Netherlands has scheduled two really nice events for the beginning of November and many User Groups around System Center, Windows Management, Hyper-V, Powershell, Azure and SQL have scheduled a combined event called Experts Live at the end of November.
