Microsoft Intune updated to latest December release

BLOG-1000070This week Microsoft Intune has been updated to the new release with the version 5.0.45.04.0. A quick look at the console shows us that we are now able to configure not only Exchange Online and On-premises policies but also SharePoint Online policies.

With the Exchange policies you are able to configure conditional access for on-premises Exchange environments but you can also blog email apps from accessing Exchange (online of on-premise) if a device is not compliant. SharePoint Online access via OneDrive for Business apps can also be blocked if not compliant. Those compliance settings can be configured within Microsoft Intune, more on this in later blogs.

Configuring Device Enrollment Policies allows you to prompt for user affinity (or not) while enrolling a device and you are able to configure a default group in which the devices needs to be assigned.

When looking at the policies, you see that you are now able to configure the Managed Browser Policies and Mobile Application Management Policies for Android and iOS mobile devices. More on this subject very soon in a series of blogs about MAM in Microsoft Intune.
